Dog Walking

Living in such a beautiful part of the country means that there are a variety of places we can go walking. We'll visit the moors, rivers, woodland, the beach and parks. If your dog loves running, swimming or just sniffing there will be a great walk from them. I regularly change the location to keep the walks fun and interesting but always go back and visit their favourite places. If you have a particular spot you like your dog to be walked then this can be arranged also.

Group Walks - £10

Groups normally consist of up to 4 dogs. The group walks are manage so the most suitable dogs are walked together.

It wont take long for me to get to know your dog and which other dogs they like to play with. Whether they like to walk with other energetic dogs or whether they prefer to walk with dogs that go at a slower pace.

If your dog likes to play with a particular toy we'll discuss this during the initial consultation and I'll make sure they get to play the way they like.

Walks last 1 hour or 30 minutes. This is purely walking time, walking time isn't wasted travelling. Travelling time is on top, so your dog will have a full 30 minutes or hour out and about playing.

30mins - £6

One-to-One - £15

Individual walks are tailored for dogs that do not like to socialise with others or need one on one attention.

This may be because they are shy, run off or are not very friendly towards other dogs.

I will discuss with you your dogs needs and if possible we can work on training your dog to socialise with others or do some recall training on the long leads, depending on what your dog requires. If your dog just enjoys being alone then I will ensure this happens.

The walk are also 30 minutes or an hour. They are generally carried out at off peak times. This means it would normally be in the morning or the afternoon.

Additional dog - £5

Energetic - £15

If you've got a particularly energetic dog that requires a bit more exercise and maybe an hour isn't going to be enough.

Then your dog can come along on a walk designed for energetic dogs. They will normally last at least 2 hours, at least until your dog is tiring. More emphasis will be put on burning off your dogs energy.

These walks will normally be carried out with just 2 dogs.

Feeding, watering and towelling down is included

For all of the walks detailed above we are always happy to feed, put fresh water down, dispense medicine, and towel down your dog at the end of every walk if you wish. Most owners prefer their dogs not to bring evidence of their walk into their home so a towelling down is always done. Canine Ventures provides and cleans the towels so you don't have to worry about dealing with a wet and muddy towel either.
